ISEGA
ISEGA is an independent testing and certification institute from Germany for products in contact with food. Through this institute, we tested paper and board for products in contact with food. Food Packaging paper and board from us had passed ISEGA regulation, indicating that Foopak products are safe for direct contact with food.
Foopak Bio Natura has passed the BfR XXXVI testing for baking purpose. This certification is intended for direct-contact food packaging with high temperature testing. The paper and paperboard must be able to withstand a temperature of at least 200°C for the intended period of heating without decomposing.

The test report explain that is no migration tendency for packaged food heated on very high temperatures (200oC for Bio Natura in 30 minutes, and 175oC for Bio Container in 30 minutes) by using MPPO (Modified Polyphenylene Oxide) as the simulant, because MPPO is the recommended solid food simulant for migration testing of packaging materials in the European Union Regulation No 10/2011.
Also, it is explained that Foopak Bio Natura (CG) and Foopak Bio Container (GA) are not allowed for product with the vinegar sauce/vinegar ingredient in the food to put in microwave / oven. Foopak Bio Natura (CT) is allowed.

Foopak Bio Natura is certified as Plastic Free Product by Flustix. It means that Foopak Bio Natura has passed multitiered plastic-testing process with the result that Foopak Bio Natura is paper product that are plastic-free in content.
